2011 Summer Slam REGISTRATION DEADLINE 6/15/11
When: Monday nights from June 27-August 15 (week of July 4th, play is on Tues, 7/5).
Dates/ Times: Games will be played at either 5:30 pm or 7pm (schedule for each teamTBD based on number of teams entered).
Early registration: $550/team if registration is completed before 4/15.
Regular registration: $600/team after 4/15.
Who can play? Any area HS team who wants the opportunity to practie their gameplay during the summer season. To maximize the competitive level of the season, we recommend that all teams be of Varsity caliber. Please note: per CIAC regulations, teams are NOT permitted to be coached by their HS coaches during this program.
Format: The format of Summer Slam is strictly gameplay. Each team will play a 3 game match against another team each week. Teams are NOT coached during the game. Substitutions, lineups, etc are at the discretion of the teams/players themselves. CT Impact will provide competent up-refs for each match.
How to register: Each team should select a "captain". This person will be the point person and contact for the season. All scheduling, etc will be communicated to this one individual and they will be in charge of communicating with all members of their team. Team "captain" is responsible for assembling team of players. All teams must consist of at least 6 players each week that will be in grades 9-12 or have just graduated (2011 grads ok) in the 2011-2012 school year. Captain should register as an individual with payplanner (if not already registered) and select Summer Slam from menu on left to complete registration and payment. Captain can then be reimbursed from all team members.
Captain will receive instructions for submitting rosters, etc after completing payment.
