11/1/08 CONGRATULATIONS to both teams for making it to the finals!  Both teams put on an impressive & exciting FCIAC Championship game! Congratulations to Darien for their win! Best of luck to both teams in the State tournament!

CONGRATULATIONS to Kristin Hanczor (Class of 2008)!

9/15/08 Bowdoin College first-year volleyball player Kristin Hanczor (Redding, Conn.) has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Week. Hanczor led the Polar Bears (6-1) to a perfect week as the squad enjoyed their best start to a season since 2003. Hanczor averaged 3.8 kills per game during a 3-0 week for Bowdoin, which included a pair of victories at the C-B-B Championship Tournament last weekend. In addition to her 38 total kills, she collected a team-high 14 blocks and connected on over 42% of her attacks.

The first-year middle-blocker is off to a stellar beginning to her collegiate career. She leads Bowdoin and ranks second in the NESCAC at 3.56 kills per game. Kristin was also named to the All-tournament team this past weekend! Congratulations Kristin on an amazing start to your collegiate career!
