Please check out the various camps that we will be running during Summer, 2010! We are excited to continue a camp model that we know will meet the needs of our players!  There are camps for players of all abilities, positions, and ages! We have designed camps so that players can focus on all their skills, position specific techniques, or specific skills.  Camp sessions are structured so that players can attend multiple camps that will best meet their needs and build their skills.  Please call or email if we can answer any questions.

Who?: Girls entering grades 9-12

When?: July 12-16, 2010, 8am-12 noon

Where?: Our facility! 7 Francis Clarke Circle, Bethel, CT

What?: This camp is for Girls entering grades 9-12 in the Fall, 2010.  Players will be divided by skill level, so the camp staff can serve beginners through elite players.  Skills we will work on during the week, include (depending on experience): court positions, movement, transitioning, hitting,blocking, defense, serving, setting, and situational game play.

Who?: Girls entering grades 9-12

When?:  Mon-Wed, July 12-14, 2010, 1-4 pm

Where?: Our new facility! 7 Francis Clarke Circle, Bethel, CT

What?: This camp is for Girls entering grades 9-12 in the Fall, 2010.  Players will be divided by skill level, so the camp staff can serve beginners through elite players.  Players will have the opportunity to work in groups with only hitters or setters.  Groups will combine daily to pair their skills. Skills we will work on during the week, include (depending on experience): running an offense, reading the defense to attack more effectively, proper hitting technique, varying sets (including shoots, slides, and quicks), and much more!

Who?: Girls entering grades 9-12

When?: Thurs-Fri, July 15-16, 1-4 pm

What?: This camp is for Girls entering grades 9-12 in the Fall, 2010.  Players will be divided by skill level, so the camp staff can serve beginners through elite players.  Skills we will work on during the week, include (depending on experience): Serve receive, free ball transition, reading the hitters, defensive movement, digging, down balls, and overhead vs. forearm passing decision-making.

Who?: Boys entering grades 9-12

What?: This camp is for Boys entering grades 9-12 in the Fall, 2010.  Players will be divided by skill level, so the camp staff can serve beginners through elite players.  Skills we will work on during the week, include (depending on experience): court positions, movement, transitioning, hitting,blocking, defense, serving, setting, and situational game play.

When?: Mon-Wed, August 9-11, 1-4pm

What?: This camp will focus on volleyball specific training and conditioning designed to work the muscle groups used in the sport of volleyball.  Campers will improve their strength and agility as they engage in conditioning drills and training exercises. Our plyometrics circuit will challenge athletes to improve their vertical jump and agility.  Skill drills and team oriented drills will also be employed.

Who?: Girls entering grades 9-12

When?: Thurs-Fri, August 12-13, 2010, 1-4 pm

What?: This camp will focus on the skills of blocking and hitting. Players will be instructed in position blocking, swing blocking, and shuffle blocking, and reading the hitter. We will focus on position specific hitting, hitting angles, and power control.

Who?: GIRLS entering grades 6-8

When?: August 9-13, 2010, 4-8pm

Where?: Our  facility! 7 Francis Clarke Circle, Bethel, CT

What?:This camp will introduce middle school girls to the game of volleyball.  Focus will be on beginning and intermediate skills, including form, positions, role of each position, basic skills of serving, hitting, blocking technique, defense, and passing.

Who?: Girls entering grades 3-5

When?: August 9-13, 2009, 4-6:30

Where?:  Our new facility! 7 Francis Clarke Circle, Bethel, CT

What?: This camp will be for our youngest players and will focus on the fundamentals of the sport.  Players will learn the very basics of the volleyball. We will use age appropriate equipment including lower nets and lighter balls.

Who?: Current collegiate players and Girls who have graduated in 2010 and who will be playing collegiate volleyball

When?: August 9-13, 2010, 1-4pm

Where?: Our facility! 7 Francis Clarke Circle, Bethel, CT

What?:This camp is designed specifically for recent HS grads (class of 2010) who will be playing volleyball in college and want to tune up their skills prior to leaving for college pre-season!

Who?: Girls entering grades 10- 12 in the Fall, 2010

When?: Aug 23-27, 2010, 8am-12 noon

Where?: Our facility! 7 Francis Clarke Circle, Bethel, CT

What?: This camp is for Girls entering grades 10-12 in the Fall, 2010.  Players will be divided by skill level, so the camp staff can serve  all levels through elite players.  Focus will be on tryout specific drills, conditioning, and preparation as well as individual and team skills designed to catch your coaches' attention!  This is a great opportunity to fine tune and warm up for HS tryouts (held the weekend or week after this camp week!).

Who?: Girls entering grades 9 in the Fall, 2010

When?: Aug 23-27, 2010, 1 pm-5pm

What?: This camp is for Girls entering grade 9 in the Fall, 2010 who intend to tryout for their HS Volleyball teams.  Players will be divided by skill level. Focus will be on tryout specific drills, conditioning, and preparation as well as individual and team skills designed to catch your coaches' attention!  This is a great opportunity to fine tune and warm up for HS tryouts (held the weekend or week after this camp week!).
