CT Impact Volleyball

Register for your age division according to the following guidelines:

18s: Players born on or after 9/1/1993

17s : Players born on or after 9/1/1994

16s: Players born on or after 9/1/1995

15s: Players born on or after 9/1/1996

14s: Players born on or after 9/1/1997

13s: Players born on or after 9/1/1998

12s: Players born on or after 9/1/1999

YES!  We will be holding 4 informational meetings during September, October, and November. Watch for dates!

Registration is EASY!  Email us with your name, the school and grade of the player, and the total number of people who will attend the session!

We will be running Girls Junior Olympic teams at the following levels:

Note: It is NOT guaranteed that there will be teams at each of these levels. It will depend on whether there is sufficient talent at each division to form a team. Players who do not make a Travel or Regional team are welcome to be a part of our Winter House program.

18 National & 18 Regional

17 National & 17 Regional

16 National & 16 Regional

15 National & 15 Regional

14 Regional, 13 Regional, and 12 Regional

NATIONAL PROGRAM:  National teams practice twice per week and have an optional third practice. National teams travel to 5-6 in region tournaments and 4-6 multi-day tournaments along the East Coast and beyond.  Regional tournaments are in the NY/NJ area.  Multi-day tournaments require long-distance travel and take place over 2-3 days. This program is best suited to players who are very serious about volleyball. It is expected and assumed that Club volleyball will be a top priority in terms of commitment, dedication, and extracurricular activities. Players on the National level are expected to fully commit to the program through the National Championships in late June/early July if the team qualifies. 

REGIONAL TEAMS: Regional teams will practice once per week with an optional second night of practice and will compete in a full GEVA schedule (approx 5 single-day tournaments in NY/NJ). Regional teams will not attend multi-day tournaments, but will gain significant tournament experience, competing against some of the top regional competition in NY/NJ. It is expected and assumed that Club volleyball will be a top priority in terms of commitment, dedication, and extracurricular activities. 

TRYOUT DATES and TIMES: see Age Definitions chart above for appropriate age division. 

NOTE: A player who falls into the U14 or U13 category, who is a talented player and would like to try out for the 15 National team, may attend tryouts for 15 National with permission from the Directors.

PLAYERS MUST ATTEND ALL TRYOUTS FOR THEIR AGE DIVISION!

All tryouts will take place at the CT Impact Volleyball Facility, located at 7 Francis J Clarke Circle, Bethel.

Tuesday, November 29:

18 National and 18 Regional - 5-8pm (check-in at 4:30)

Wednesday, November 30:

17 National and 17 Regional-  5-8pm (check-in at 4:30)

Thursday, December 1:

16 National and 16 Regional (check-in 4:30)

Friday, December 2:

15 National, 15 Regional, 14 Regional, 13 Regional, 12 Regional- 5-8 pm (check-in 4:30)

Saturday, December 3:

12 Regional, 13 Regional, 14 Regional, 15 Regional, 15 National - 8am- 10:30 am

16 National & 16 Regional- 11am-2 pm

17 National & 17 Regional - 3-6pm

18 National & 18 Regional- 6:30-9:30 pm

Tryout fee is $85 (non-refundable, even if player chooses not to try out or does not make a team). Tryout fee also covers registration with USAV/NERVA.

Information on registering with NERVA will be emailed to all registrants at a later date as the USAV registration system is not yet open. Registration with USAV/NERVA is required prior to tryouts.
