2012 Summer Slam REGISTRATION DEADLINE 6/15/12

When: Monday nights from June 25-August 13.

Dates/ Times: Games will be played at either 6:00 pm or 7:15pm (schedule for each teamTBD based on number of teams entered).

Early registration: $550/team if registration is completed before 5/10.

Regular registration: $600/team after 5/10.

 16 Red and 16 Black will be playing at Dominican College.  

15 Black you play at West Windsor-Plainsboro South High School.

14 Black you play at Aviator Athletic Club.

16 Red you work the first match at 8am. You must be there by 7:30.

16 Black you work the first match at 8am. You must be there by 7:30.

15 Black you work the first match so you must be there by 8:30.

14 Black you play the first match at 9am so you must be on the court ready to go for 8:15.

Format - the girls will PLAY and WORK (and be OFF at some tournaments). It is always a good idea to have some reading. homework, music, etc (for parents and for kids).  ALL players are expected to share equally in the work responsibilities.  Generally, if the team has a work assignment at the end of the tournament, it is expected that all players will remain on site until all team members are able to leave, even if the player is not working (ONE TEAM attitude).

*Seating - It is our advice that all spectators keep folding chairs in their car for all tournaments. SOME venues will have seating, SOME will not. Always be prepared!

*Food/drinks - some venues will have food,  but most will not.  Some venues are in close proximity to food and some are not.  Unless you know the area has decent lunch options (Subway, etc), please plan to bring healthy food and snacks for players. Also, bring a sufficient amount of water as it may not be available on site.  Team reps have sent emails regarding how teams will handle food/snacks for day tournaments so please email your team parent if you have any questions.

 Open gyms are posted on the calendar - Fridays 6-9 and Sunday 6-9.  Medical and liability forms are available on the front page of the web site and it is $10 per player.  Hope to see you in the gym!

Hello - We have had a few inquiries about how we will proceed if there is inclement weather.  Unless the roads are not driveable in our area, we WILL hold practice/tournaments, etc.  Our weather policy is that we will post ON THIS FRONT PAGE if we are ever going to cancel a program - usually atleast 90 min prior to the start of the program.

SAFETY IS FIRST. If you are not able to get to us safely from where you live, that is OK. Please just send us an email to that regard.

Congratulations to the 15 National team who are on their way to compete in Reno in June! We're very proud of all of your hard work!

The 15s and 16s teams spent this past weekend playing very tough matches against excellent competition from around the country!  We're very proud of how hard you played and how well you represented yourselves, your families, and the Club!
